Your voice, your data: export and deletion

What exists, what doesn't

• Raw audio is never stored by Rhetoric. Voice is transcribed live; audio is then gone.
• What persists: your speeches, transcripts, practice metrics, debate records, account and subscription state; the product, visible to you.
• Support requests you send us are kept too, with their retention schedule described in the Privacy Policy.

Export everything

1. 1Settings → your data → Export.
2. 2You get a single JSON file: profile, subscription state, speeches, practice sessions, and your support requests.
3. 3If any part of the export can't be produced, the export fails loudly rather than handing you a silently incomplete file.

Delete individual items or everything

• Individual sessions (including transcripts) can be deleted from their pages.
• Account deletion in Settings is self-serve and immediate: your content, sessions, and support requests leave the live database. Billing records stay only as long as tax law requires.
• If you have an active subscription, cancel it in the billing portal first; deletion doesn't stop a subscription on its own; the screen reminds you.
