Export a speech to Word or PDF
Get your script out of Rhetoric as a .docx file, or print it to PDF.
Applies to: Pro and Premium
- Open the speech in the editor.
- Use the Export action: the speech downloads as a Word (.docx) file with your title and text.
- For a PDF: open the downloaded file (or the editor's print view) and use your system's Print → Save as PDF.
Your whole library is also exportable in one file: Settings → export includes every speech as data (JSON), alongside your sessions. Word export is per speech; the Settings export is the everything-at-once copy.
If the download doesn't start
- Check the browser's download bar or downloads list; some browsers hide the prompt.
- Pop-up or download blockers can swallow the file; allow downloads for this site and retry.
- If it fails repeatedly, copy the text as a stopgap and report the problem so nothing blocks your deadline.
