Start your first speech

Create a speech, find your way around the workspace, and run your first practice.

Applies to: Pro and Premium

Create the speech

  1. Open your workspace and select Write a speech (top of the sidebar on desktop, top of the screen on mobile).
  2. A new document opens in the editor. Give it a title; the title is how you'll find it in your Library later.
  3. Write directly, paste from anywhere, or import an existing file (Word, PDF, text, Markdown, or RTF).

Expected result: the speech appears in your Library immediately and saves as you type. There is no Save button to remember.

The four rooms of the workspace

  • Editor: draft and polish the script itself.
  • Teleprompter: run the script on a stage that follows your voice.
  • Freestyle: short drills for pace and filler words, no script needed.
  • Debate: argue a motion against an AI opponent, then get a verdict.

Run your first practice

  1. From the editor or the Library, open your speech in the Teleprompter.
  2. Allow microphone access when the browser asks; the stage moves with your voice.
  3. Speak naturally. When you finish, the session report shows pace, coverage, and where you went off script.

Everything above starts from the workspace home.
