Use freestyle drills
Practice pacing, structure, and filler words without a script; and fix the common hiccups.
Applies to: Pro and Premium
- Open Freestyle from the sidebar and pick a topic; or start blank and speak on anything.
- Allow the microphone, then talk. The arena listens live and tracks pace and fillers as you go.
- Stop when you're done: the assessment shows what was measured locally (pace, fillers) and what the AI judged (structure, coverage of your ideas), labeled separately.
Scores never come from thin air: if the mic captured nothing, you get an honest "nothing captured" rather than a number.
Common hiccups
- No transcript appearing → it's almost always microphone permission; fix that first.
- Ideas or topics fail to load → usually a momentary connection or usage-limit condition; the screen says which, and retrying after it clears works.
- Very short takes score oddly → give a drill at least 30–60 seconds of real speech to measure.
